Winter city breaks launch from Birmingham Airport to meet ‘strong demand’

Winter city breaks to destinations including Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Rome and Prague have been launched from Birmingham Airport following strong demand.

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced their new City Breaks programme from Birmingham Airport for Winter 2025/26.

The UK’s third largest airline and biggest operator of European city breaks says growing demand from customers looking for culture, history, cuisine and sightseeing has led a choice of eight city break destinations being put on sale from Birmingham.

The destinations on sale include Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Prague, Rome, Vienna and Venice, giving customers and independent travel agents in the Midlands plenty of choice and flexibility when to comes to reaching their favourite European cities next winter.

 Flights and city breaks have gone on sale from November 2025 to March 2026.

The full Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks Winter City Breaks programme from Birmingham Airport for 25/26 is as follows:

  • Athens (two weekly flights until mid-November and from mid-February)
  • Barcelona (two weekly flights throughout the winter season)
  • Budapest (two weekly flights throughout the winter season)
  • Rome (four weekly flights throughout the winter season)
  • Krakow (two weekly flights throughout the winter season)
  • Prague (two weekly flights throughout the winter season)
  • Venice (two weekly flights until the start of November and from mid-February)
  • Vienna (two weekly flights until the start of January and from mid-February)

Customers booking a city break can choose from a flight-only option with Jet2.com or an ATOL protected package holiday with Jet2CityBreaks.
