West Midlands businesses invited to join free practical workshops to seize competitive edge
Small and medium-sized businesses across the West Midlands are invited to seize a unique opportunity to gain a competitive edge in emerging markets.
The Business Growth West Midlands Supply Chain Transition Programme, funded by the UK government, will launch a series of free, practical workshops this January.
It is delivered in partnership with Newable, Enterprise Nation, and Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) to empower SMEs in the West Midlands.
The initiative provides practical workshops and resources to help businesses secure new contracts and diversify their supply chains.
These workshops are designed to equip local businesses with knowledge and tools needed to transition into the supply chains of three high-growth sectors including health-tech and med-tech, manufacture of future housing, and smart energy systems.
The workshops are set to provide actionable insights to help SMEs expand into lucrative markets, craft winning proposals, build valuable networks, and secure contracts that drive sustainable growth.
Attendees will also gain sector-specific knowledge on why health-tech and med-tech, future housing, and smart energy systems are key growth areas for the West Midlands, and how to position their businesses for success in these industries.
The workshops are tailored for small and medium businesses in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, and Wolverhampton.
