Villa Catering Club programme to relaunch
Aston Villa Foundation have announced they will be restarting their Villa Catering Club employability programme in the next few weeks.
The 16-week free programme will be able to support adults who are seeking employment, with a range of qualifications and hands-on experience within the catering industry.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Hospitality & Catering Principles Level 2 Certification, NCASS Level 2 Food Hygiene, LPG Gas Safety and Employability Level 1 Qualification.
James Lowbridge (pictured), Foundation operations manager, said: “The Villa Catering Club programme, delivered by the Aston Villa Foundation, in partnership with South and City College Birmingham, Digbeth Dining Club and the Nationwide Caterers Association is a 16-week programme, based at Villa Park, that offers first-hand practical experience and qualifications for adults seeking employment within the catering industry.
“The course is due to start in March and we are welcoming anyone interested to apply ASAP. ”
