Vending operator wins big at awards ceremony

West Midlands vending machine operator Coinadrink Limited scooped two awards and were highly commended in a further two categories at the Vendies Awards 2023.

The Vendies Awards are an annual celebration of the suppliers, operators and individual personnel that make formulate the vending industry.

Hosted at the Connaught Rooms in London, managing director Tom Williams travelled down alongside sales and customer care manager Esther Ladbury and customer support and development team leader Julie Jones.

Coinadirnk won the “Best Overall Operator ” award, which celebrates companies that prioritise quality, customer service, and an obvious commitment to keep pushing the industry forward.

Of the five categories entered, Coinadrink was also highly commended in four of them.

Elsewhere, service engineer of the firm Mike Powell won the award for “Best Service Engineer ”. Mike has been a highly regarded member of Team Coinadrink for 20 years now and during that time he has attended customer service calls with complete professionalism and a very impressive first-time fix rate.

Customer support and development team leader Julie Jones was also recognised in the newly formed “Woman of the Year ” category while sales and marketing manager Esther Ladbury was also nominated for this award.

The pair have each been rewarded with internal promotions in the past 12 months.
