University forms partnership to host Birmingham Tech Week event for industry leaders
Aston University has partnered with Bruntwood SciTech to host an event to showcase the developments and initiatives that are underway in the Birmingham Innovation Quarter (B – IQ).
The event titled, Birmingham Innovation Quarter: Innovation for Inclusive Growth, will take place today, 22 October from 5:30pm to 7pm at Enterprise Wharf.
It will bring together industry leaders, investors, academics, innovators and policymakers to explore how innovation is driving inclusive growth in Birmingham.
At this informal drinks reception and networking event, guests will be able to find out about plans to invest and regenerate in the B-IQ, the site in and around the Aston University main campus and Bruntwood SciTech’s innovation campus.
Attendees will learn about Bruntwood SciTech’s latest development, Enterprise Wharf, and how Aston University’s R&D platform is accelerating the growth of spin-outs and boosting the city’s economy, as well as plans for the University’s latest acquisition of 10 Woodcock Street within the B-IQ area.
The event will also offer opportunities to collaborate and partner in Birmingham’s fast-growing innovation ecosystem.
