Training firm announce new partnership with WMCA
A new partnership has been announced between Sutton Coldfield Training (SCT) and West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to expand apprenticeship support.
The partnership enables eligible employers to access financial support for apprenticeships through the Apprenticeship Levy Transfer Programme.
This collaboration will help businesses across the region upskill their workforce, bridging the gap between education and employment while fostering economic growth.
Through this initiative, Sutton Coldfield Training will assist businesses in navigating the apprenticeship funding process, ensuring that they can fully utilise the levy transfer to support apprenticeship costs.
This means more employers can invest in the training and development of their teams, helping to create a skilled and sustainable workforce for the future.
SCT continues to deliver high-quality apprenticeship programmes across various sectors, including management, customer service, health and social care, early years and Children’s Residential Care.
With the introduction of levy transfer funding, more businesses will have the opportunity to participate in apprenticeships without financial strain.
SCT works closely with employers to design tailored apprenticeship programmes that meet their unique business needs.
Speaking about the course, a recent level 7 senior leader learner said: “The support I have received from Sutton Coldfield Training has been incredible.
“The trainers are knowledgeable and genuinely care about my progress. Thanks to this apprenticeship, I have gained valuable skills and confidence in my career."
By collaborating with the WMCA, we can ensure that employers receive guidance on funding options, recruitment, and training implementation. This initiative makes apprenticeships more accessible and supports companies in building a resilient and highly skilled workforce.
