Top broadcast journalist to headline press club lunch

One of the UK’s top broadcast journalists will be the guest speaker at a celebrity lunch, organised by the Birmingham Press Club.

The award-winning Nick Ferrari(pictured) will speak during the evet on Friday, 25 April at Park Regis hote.

A three-course lunch, priced at £70 a ticket, will be preceded by a drinks reception from 12 noon to 12.30 pm.

Nick, who this year celebrates 21 years as the host of LBC’s weekday breakfast show, is regarded as one of the nation’s most popular, respected and formidable speech broadcasters, being a champion of the radio phone-in where he puts his listeners in the driving seat to question and challenge those in government and leadership.

A journalist with a reputation as a straight-talking, tenacious broadcaster, he has over the past two decades interviewed thousands of national and world leaders from politics, business and entertainment.

Press Club president Bob Warman said: “Birmingham Press Club has always attracted speakers who are the titans of broadcasting and print.

“Nick Ferrari is right up there with them - a former showbiz editor and columnist, and for the last 20 years commanding the airwaves as the UK’s most talked about speech interviewer.
