GBYPY Awards 2024: Meet the judges for Finance, Digital, Technology & Innovation, Start-Up, Enterprise & Entrepreneurship

Future Faces, the young professionals division of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, have announced the second judging panel for the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards 2024.

The second panel is for the following categories: Finance; Digital, Technology & Innovation and Start-Up, Enterprise & Entrepreneurship.

The judges for this panel are:

  • Karl George- partner and head of Governance at RSM
  • Alice Kinder- senior associate solicitor at Bexley Beaumont and president of the Birmingham Law Society
  • Kelly Proverbs- business manager, chief operating office at Deutsche Bank
  • Modasar Rasul- international alumni relations manager at Aston University

Speaking about judging the categories for this panel, Karl George said: “I am looking forward to be a judge for the Greater BYPY awards, as it not only allows me to celebrate the innovation and contribution of our rising stars, but also offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with and encourage the exceptional talent emerging from our region.”

Alice Kinder said: “As a previous winner at the GBYPY Awards, I am delighted to be part of this year’s judging panel. The awards are a fantastic opportunity to ensure that the next generation of talent in Birmingham can be recognised and celebrated. I look forward to meeting the shortlisted applicants!”

Kelly Proverbs said: “Young professionals are our future and supporting programmes like this where talent can thrive is of great importance to me. I am thrilled to be judging the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards 2024.”

Modasar Rasul said: “There is an endless amount of talent within our city and the GBYPY Awards is the premier celebration of this talent. Having spent many years helping to develop young professionals, it is a great privilege to be able to judge, showcase and recognise the young professionals and future leaders who are making the most impact.”

The interviews for this year’s awards will be taking place at the Library of Birmingham on Monday, 2 September.

The Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards 2024 will take place at the ICC Birmingham on Friday, 18 October. For more information on the awards, visit the GBCC events website.
