Birmingham-based tech entrepreneur Waqar Shah has successfully launched Superbutler.ai in the UK, an AI-powered digital concierge service for hotels.

This revolutionary platform, driven by Artificial Intelligence, aims to simplify hotel services through digitalisation.

Superbutler has successfully raised more than £350,000 on the crowdfunding platform Seedrs and is now aiming to expand in London and other parts of the UK, envisioning a transformation of the global hotel industry by enhancing guest experiences with personalised, streamlined services.

Guests can now seamlessly order meals, book spa treatments, arrange transportation, and request services like laundry or meeting rooms.

Superbutler not only elevates the guest experience but also delivers real-time data insights to hotel managers, enabling personalised services. Initially targeting around 1,000 hotels in London, the platform plans future expansions to the Midlands.

Waqar Shah, a University of Birmingham computer science alum and the founder of the successful food ordering platform Supermeal, envisions Superbutler becoming a staple in hotels, cruise ships, and golf courses worldwide.

He has gathered a distinguished team, including Paul Haworth as chief commercial officer (formerly of PepsiCo), Syed Ansar Gillani as director of product (who has led digital projects for enterprises including Google Ireland), and Shariq Malik as finance director (formerly of PwC).

Waqar Shah said: “As we innovate in the hospitality sector, my vision is crystal clear.

“I see Superbutler integrating seamlessly into every hotel, cruise ship, and golf course's operation. I'm proud to lead a team of experts in technology, sales, and finance.

“Together, we're not just innovating in the hotel industry; we're shaping the future of hospitality.

“My gratitude goes to my team—Paul, Ansar, and Shariq—for leading their domains with distinction.”

The platform extends its capabilities beyond basic services, offering guests the convenience of lodging complaints or raising issues while providing hotel managers with valuable operational insights.

Early adopters including Ramada Hotel have strongly supported Superbutler following successful tests, endorsing its potential to revolutionise the global hotel industry and enhance overall guest experiences.

The enthusiastic response from early adopters highlights the platform's potential to redefine the hotel industry and establish new standards for guest services. Keep an eye on Superbutler's growth as a new era of convenience and efficiency in hotel experiences has just begun.
