STEAMhouse set to launch free session focused on B Corp evaluation
The STEAMhouse project of Birmingham City University will be launching a lunch and learn session focused on demystify the understanding and barriers to becoming a B Corp organisation.
The session, led by certified B-Leader and founder of Kindred CSR Ali Phillips will prepare participants for a 10 step journey to accelerate through initial B Corp Impact Assessment and get them ready for evaluation and verification.
By joining the programme, businesses will benefit from expert knowledge on the impact assessment questions and functions, guidance on how to complete the answers to maximise scores, action planning and troubleshooting improvements and an opportunity to network with other businesses going through the same journey.
The course is tailored to;
- Businesses who are passionate about demonstrating their commitment to creating positive environmental and societal impact and want to get certified as quickly as possible.
- Individuals who are struggling to find time in their diaries and need the accountability to keep them on track.
- Businesses who are confused by the technical jargon of the BIA or feel overwhelmed by the process.
- Businesses who want to learn from others about what they could be doing to increase their impact or create new opportunities for collaboration.
