Starsailor singer to perform at The Hub
Starsailor frontman James Walsh is returning to The Hub at St Mary’s in support of his new EP ‘Renewal’.
Walsh (pictured) will be performing new material and Starsailor favourites at the show on Friday 28 February (8pm).
His latest solo offering ‘Renewal’ was written over a period of several months whilst he was recording ‘Where the Wild Things Grow’, the latest album from Starsailor featuring the optimistic lead track ‘Better Times’.
Walsh has carved out an impressive solo career releasing albums including 2019’s ‘Tiger on the Bridge’, 2021’s ‘Small Illusions’ and 2014’s ‘Turning Point’ and there’s no doubt that music runs deep in his soul.
‘Renewal’ offers the trademarks of Walsh’s all-encompassing signature sound.
The Hub creative director, Anthony Evans said: “James’ music comes from the heart.
“He crafts his music to perfectly capture the emotions expressed in his lyrics and delivers his songs with great sensitivity. We’re absolutely thrilled he is coming to The Hub.”
Tickets cost £19 and are available online or in person from the venue.
