Sports charity aims to raise funds for young people with Rise Up 2025 campaign
Sport 4 Life UK has announced the launch of Rise Up 2025, a dynamic month-long campaign set to transform the lives of young people across the West Midlands.
This initiative invites individuals, teams, and communities to take on a daily challenge – moving 2.5km each day throughout May – and to raise vital funds that support pathways into education, employment, and training for young people facing barriers.
Taking place from 1 May to 31 May, participants are encouraged to walk, run, cycle, or even swim 2.5km every day. Together, Sport 4 Life UK is aiming to cover an inspiring 25,150 kilometres – one for every young person currently out of work, education, or training in the region.
Each kilometre completed generates £1, with a fundraising goal of £80 per participant. Every contribution directly supports essential programs that empower young people with the skills and confidence needed for a brighter future.
Tom Clark-Forrest (pictured), Sport 4 Life founder & CEO said: "Rise Up 2025 is more than just a campaign; it’s a movement that brings together purpose-driven individuals and organisations. By participating, every kilometre walked or run becomes a powerful step towards creating opportunities for young people in our community. We invite everyone to join us, share their journey, and help spread the word through social networks and community engagement."
