Speakers confirmed for upcoming ABCC Vaisakhi celebration
A versatile panel of speakers has been confirmed for the upcoming Vaisakhi celebrations of the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce.
The event will take place tomorrow, from 7 to 9.30 pm at the New Hall Hotel and Spa.
The significance of the festival involves how the tenth Guru of the Sikhs introduced the ‘Order of the Pure Ones’, as well as honouring the work of farmers and paying tribute to God for food and praying for future prosperity.
Speakers include Surlender Pendress, Harvir Sahota, and Pinder Singh Dhaliwal,
Surlender Pendress is the founder of Love Writing Co.
It was born when Surlinder, a single mom, could not find good writing resources to help her own kids learn to write with ease and comfort.
Harvir Sahota is the chief executive of catering and events company Mahirs Experience.
Harvir has successfully scaled up his family’s business, which began as a small Indian delicatessen. The original company was founded in the 1970s by Havir’s father and uncle.
It is now a multi award-winning firm which caters to around 100 venues nationwide and has been utilised by a string of A-List clients.
Pinder Dhaliwal is the owner of Falcon Insurance, a reputable and well-established insurance company specialising in Landlord and Business Insurance.
With a wealth of experience in the industry, Pinder has devoted his career to providing comprehensive insurance solutions.
