St. Basils has announced the return of Woofs 2025, Solihull’s dog-friendly charity event, taking place on Sunday, 16 March in Brueton Park.

Packed with fun for both dogs and their owners, this event supports St. Basils vital work to combat youth homelessness while celebrating four-legged friends.

Woofs 2025 will feature an expanded Agility Arena, where dogs can show off their skills under the guidance of experts from Animal Kind.

For those looking for a gentler experience, the all-new Bark Run offers a flat tarmac course perfect for a relaxing stroll.

Visitors can also explore the bustling Dog Village, filled with stalls offering treats, toys, grooming products, and more. Every dog that participates will receive a medal and certificate, making it a memorable day for all.

Barrie Hodge, head of Fundraising and Communications at St. Basils said: “Woofs is more than just a fun day out – it’s a chance to unite the community in the beautiful surroundings of Brueton Park, a setting that dogs and their owners will love.

"St. Basils has a youth hub in Solihull where young people can access essential support, alongside accommodation projects that provide a lifeline to young homeless people.

“Like many towns, Solihull has seen a sharp rise in homelessness, and the cost-of-living crisis is hitting vulnerable young people the hardest, especially those without family support.

"Every penny raised at Woofs goes directly back into the local community, offering real, tangible help where it’s needed most.

"Supporting this event means supporting your community and giving vulnerable young people a brighter future.”
