Consumer law firm Lime Solicitors has been appointed to the Amputation Foundation’s legal panel.

As part of the partnership, Lime Solicitors will be one of the charity’s recommended legal partners, and will also help it expand its reach and deliver its strategy to support more people affected by amputation.

The Amputation Foundation provides a community of comprehensive support, empowerment and practical resources to help individuals confidently adapt to life after limb loss.

Founder Stephen Curse said: “Amputation Foundation is delighted to welcome Lime Solicitors to the family. As the charity grows, so too does our need for additional support and having met with Lime Solicitors on several occasions, we were excited by the synergy and ethos we shared.

“As a bilateral below knee amputee, I set Amputation Foundation up with one thing front and centre of my mind and that was and always will be to support individuals and their families through what is invariably a life-changing experience.

“We are really looking forward to working with the Lime team to ensure our support can reach those people who want and need it.”

Lime Solicitors works with amputees to provide legal assistance in terms of prosthesis, employment issues, rehabilitation and recovery, and vehicle and home adaptations following personal and serious injury or medical negligence.

Vicky Blodwell (pictured), serious injury partner at Lime Solicitors, said: “Losing a limb is one of the most difficult things a person can go through, and we understand that appropriate guidance, ongoing care, and support and help from others who may have experienced a similar injury is invaluable.

“It is a privilege to be working with the Amputation Foundation – a charity that provides critical support after amputation.

“Through this collaboration, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of amputees and their families, helping them to navigate the challenges they face and empowering them to build brighter futures.”

Martin Usher, head of serious injury at Lime Solicitors, added: “As specialists in amputation claims, we are always looking to partner with like-minded organisations and charities that provide invaluable support to those affected by this type of injury.

“We truly believe that better outcomes can be achieved for everyone when we all work together.”
