Sky dive to raise money for homelessness charities
Claritas Tax have announced that resident daredevils Robert Brown and Nikhil Trivedi will be taking to the skies in their “Live and let’s dive” challenge on Friday, 1 November.
Partner and Head of the Bristol office, Rob Brown and Associate, Nikhil Trivedi will be taking on one of the UK's highest skydive - freefalling from 15,000ft and reaching speeds of up to 120mph.
Robert and Nikhil need your help to raise a minimum of £1500, to secure themselves a parachute. The skydive aims to raise essential funds for two local causes, St Basils UK and Emmaus UK.
St Basils works with young people to enable them to find and keep a home, grow their confidence, develop their skills, increase opportunities and prevent homelessness.
Emmaus UK provides a lasting solution to homelessness by offering formerly homeless people a home, work and the chance to regain self-respect in a supportive environment. Residents work in the community social enterprise, renovating and re-selling donated furniture.
Nikhil Trivedi said: “I am very excited to do this charity skydive. I love adrenaline fuelled activities, and this presented a perfect opportunity to tick this off my bucket list. To top it off, I get to raise money and awareness for a fantastic cause. Homelessness is a horrible thing to see people go through. I am very lucky to have had a fortunate life, so it’s a real honour to be able to put myself forward for this challenge that will enable St Basil’s to provide resources to help young people going through the struggle and help prevent those at risk.”
