A premium property overlooking St Phillip’s Square in Birmingham city centre is to be looked after by the property management arm of Siddall Jones.

Portman House at 5-7 Temple Row West comprises the popular Damascena café on the ground floor, with three upper floors of office accommodation.

The landmark property overlooks the Cathedral off Colmore Row, in the heart of the city’s business district, and lies next to the busy Old Joint Stock pub.

The contract to look after Portman House was awarded by Swali Investment & Holdings Ltd, who own the building.

Adam Billig, head of commercial property management at Siddall Jones, said: “Portman House is an established premium property that everyone who works in the city centre knows well.

“The property is in a superb location overlooking St Phillip’s Square, and is close to high quality amenities, restaurants, bars and shops.

“It’s also within easy walking distance of mainline railway stations and the extended Metro Line.”

“We’re delighted to have been appointed to manage the development and will be working closely with the tenants to make sure we carefully plan facilities and maintenance for the future.

“This is one of many properties that we have recently taken into our management portfolio, and we are keen to speak to other landlords across the Midlands who are seeking to maximise the value of their assets.”

Siddall Jones has considerably expanded its commercial property management portfolio since the acquisition of Bromsgrove-based 4D Properties in January this year.

Ed Siddall-Jones added: “This is the latest in a series of significant new business wins this year and is a great example of how Siddall Jones is now a one-stop commercial property shop for business owners and investors across the Midlands.”
