Shortlist and sponsors announced for Burton Celebratory Lunch

The shortlist and sponsors have been announced for this year’s Burton Celebratory Lunch, happening at the Pirelli Stadium on 21 November.

Pattrn Data and Alexander Accountancy have been named as headline sponsors while Ginho Group will sponsor the President’s Award.

Tilbury Douglas has agreed to sponsor Burton’s Hidden Gem award with Hardy Signs Limited sponsoring the award of Burton’s Rising Star.

Select Car Leasing Burton on Trent will sponsor table drinks at the event.

Two awards will be up for grabs during the event alongside Burton & District President’s Award given by Shaun Gray.

Burton’s Hidden Gem is an award designed to celebrate the success of Burton-based businesses and acknowledges the commitment to contributing to the local community.

Businesses were invited to demonstrate the positive contribution the organisation has had on the local community and highlight business success over the last 12 months including growth, employee and customer satisfaction.

Burton’s Rising Star celebrates an individual who has gone above and beyond, making an impact at their workplace and in the local community.

The judging panel was led by head of Sutton, Lichfield and Tamworth Chambers Chris Brewerton.

Chris Wheeler, consultant at Auditel

Ahmer Nawaz, head of business development at Fraser Russell

Speaking about the shortlist, head of judges Chris Brewerton (pictured) said: "A big thanks to those who applied for the inaugural award categories and thanks to the judges for their time in judging a high level of applications.

“Burton and District is a vibrant place to live and work and we look forward to finding out who will be crowned as best in the area across the Hidden Gem and Rising Star categories at the lunch in a few weeks time.”
