Businesses in the regions are urged to share their insights to shape the region’s skills gap.

The call comes from the Staffordshire Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), who has been working hand-in-hand with businesses across the county to identify and address skill gaps in the region.

The LSIP wants to hear from

  • Companies that invest in and develop their staff
  • Employers who find navigating the skills system challenging
  • Businesses struggling to access the right training for their needs

By participating, the LSIP can tailor training and development opportunities to better support business needs.

Speaking about the survey, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce project manager Suzanne Quinn said: “Skills for the future is so important, but to plan and prepare, businesses need to speak up on what they need, what is missing and what their frustrations are with the current system.

“Training can be adapted to suit your needs, but only if we can hear from you.

“This survey is your opportunity to help the skills for the future as well as the opportunity the win £100 amazon voucher.”
