Richardson to develop Central Point scheme in the West Midlands
The Richardson business and developer Erdgard have completed the acquisition of a six-acre site in Darlaston in the West Midlands.
The transaction provides an opportunity to deliver a multi-let scheme in a prime Black Country location.
The scheme will be known as Central Point, with plans to develop six high-quality units, totalling nearly 100,000 sq. ft, on the Willenhall Road site, close to Junction 10 of the M6.
Richardson is an international investment business with a growth-capital and real estate portfolio across the world.
The multi-generational independent family investment business began in the first half of the last century in the West Midlands.
Current growth capital investments include an award-winning Swiss technology company, a UK financial services business, a US-based medical real estate company and Australia’s leading alarm signalling technology business.
Erdgard, a specialist industrial & logistics developer, was established earlier this year by Allan Wilson and Gareth Williams.
The Erdgard directors have considerable experience across the West Midlands, gaining a track record for developing high-quality, sustainable industrial and logistics accommodation.
Gareth Williams from Erdgard said: “We look forward to furthering our partnership with the Richardson family by bringing forward plans for the site’s redevelopment.”
