Recycle your Christmas cards for charity

Broadway Plaza has teamed up with the Charlie Ramsey Research Fund to repeat the growing success of their Christmas Card Recycling.

The leisure complex located near to the Five Ways roundabout in Birmingham is encouraging visitors to pop into any of the venues onsite and recycle their cards in the available collection boxes, which will be in place until 31 January.

The Centre will be pledging 20p per kilo of Christmas cards collected and are hoping to raise over £200 for the Charlie Ramsey Research Fund.

Natal Chapman, Savills centre manager for Broadway Plaza, said: “This initiative has been growing year on year, with our combined amount to date raising over £1,000 for the charity, which is not only a great green and sustainable option to old cards, but also valuable in raising essential funds for the work the charity carries out within the local community. ”
