Places and funding available to join digital skills bootcamp

Spaces and funding are now available for a tech and skills bootcamp launched by training firm The Development Manager (TDM).

Tailored to meet specific needs of employers, the bootcamps are ideal for businesses looking to upskill their current workforce, address skills gaps, and remain competitive.

They are supported by Government-funding and are flexible 12-week courses to help attendees gain the Tech and Digital skills and knowledge that a business requires, whilse building sector specific skills.

The bootcamps are available to employees aged 19 and above who lives in and around Birmingham and Worcestershire. Spaces and funding available will be available from the end of November 2024.

Employers can use Skills Bootcamps to help the workforce adopt to digital marketing strategies, move from spreadsheets to software solutions and databases, automate manual, resource intensive tasks, move from physical infrastructure to the cloud and make full use of productivity tools and essential software.

TDM’s expert trainers will help participants improve their use of online and social media platforms to drive customer sales, collect and study data to provide new business insight via AI, make sure organisational infrastructure operates efficiently by utilising the cyber pathways, and delve into Microsoft Power Apps.

The bootcamps also include the option to achieve recognised industry certifications.

“Nearly four out of five employers say the struggle to fill jobs and retain talent, is having a serious impact on their ability to do business.

“With such an acute problem, the government have introduced Skills Bootcamps as a scheme to boost training and development."
