Party in the Park event launched

Solihull Chamber members The Original Entertainment Company and Visit Knowle have collaborated to bring Party in the Park to Knowle this weekend, supporting the Chamber’s charity of the year, Solihull Moors Foundation.

The event kicks off this Friday and promises a vibrant celebration of music, community spirit, and delicious food.

On Friday, 28 June, immerse yourself in The Greatest Showman. Prepare to be amazed as aerial acts soar, fire breathers ignite the night, live actors captivate, and tunes from the film are brought to life. Gates open at 5:30pm with the film starting at 8:00pm.

Saturday, 29 June sees the return of Knowle Party in the Park featuring a full day of live music featuring talented artists like Heather Small and Kenny Thomas, the line up is:

  • Gates open- 11am
  • The Wedding Crashers- 12pm
  • Matilda Pratt- 12:50pm
  • Katie Davie- 1:30pm
  • Andy Bennett (OCS) & Simon Foster- 2:20pm
  • 2 Weeks Notice- 3:35pm
  • Detroit Soul Collective- 5:20pm
  • Kevin Davy White- 7:05pm
  • Heather Small- 8:20pm
  • Kenny Thomas- 9:30pm
  • Event finishes- 10:30 PM

Both events feature a wide variety of local food vendors, stalls, and bars catering to different dietary needs.

Ian Rogers, of Solihull Summer Fest said: “I’m absolutely delighted to bring back an event that locals speak so fondly of rekindling community togetherness in Knowle Park. As well as providing a platform for local talent it will be another opportunity to support the amazing independent businesses in Knowle.”

The chosen charity for the event is Solihull Moors Foundation who will be hosting an activation zone.  Becci Fox from the Solihull Moors Foundation expressed her delight: "We are delighted to have been chosen as the charity for Knowle Party in the Park, this gives us a great opportunity to fundraise, meet new people and local businesses whilst promoting the valuable impact that we have within the Solihull area."
