Transformative course to help managers navigate hurdles effectively
Solihull-based CAPE Coaching & Development has launched a transformative year-long course to help managers tackle hurdles effectively.
The hands-on, impactful programme is tailored to support managers in building their leadership skills, growing their confidence, and maximising their impact.
The course will run throughout 12 months, with fortnightly live learning sessions over the first 6 months.
It will also feature three one-on-one coaching sessions with experienced professionals, access to a curated online resource library and bespoke self-directed learning materials along with a DISC personality profile assessment.
Practical applications of this programme include opportunities to develop coaching skills and participate in a social impact project, offering coaching or mentoring to employees/volunteers working in the third sector who might not otherwise have access.
It comes under a backdrop where research shows that organisations with highly effective managers are 48 per cent more likely to exceed performance expectations, while poor management is linked to a staggering £39 billion loss in UK business productivity each year.
With the evolving workplace dynamics and increasing employee expectations, developing strong managerial skills is essential for organisational success.
Director Lynsey Kitching said: "Recent studies show that businesses with highly engaged teams are 21 per cent more profitable.
“Yet, CIPD data reveals that only 35 per cent of UK employees feel engaged at work. This programme is designed to bridge that gap by empowering managers to foster accountability and drive team performance."
Co-director Naomi Regan added: “Studies indicate that organisations with ineffective management see 60 per cent higher turnover rates, further impacting productivity and morale.
“Our programme equips managers with the skills to combat these challenges and create thriving, productive teams.”
Their next cohort launches in March 2025. Applications are now open. Visit their website to learn more and reserve your place.
