New mental health space opens in St Paul’s Square

Birmingham Mind has opened an out of hours mental health service, known as Talking Space, in St Paul’s Square.

This is the charity’s fourth crisis intervention space, offering support for young adults aged 18 to 25.

The space is open every Friday through to Monday, from 1pm till 9pm, providing essential services to help those in need.

Services offered include wellbeing support, preventive and crisis care, signposting and advice with practical and clinical support.

The Talking Space service is designed to offer in person mental health support in a safe, welcoming environment.

Birmingham Mind is also encouraging young people to drop in without prior appointment between 1 to 4 pm.

Appointments are also available from 4 to 9pm.
