New business growth event launched in Herefordshire
Following the overwhelming success of past workshops, Innovate UK Business Growth, a direct partner to Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, has launched the next event in Herefordshire.
Titled as ‘Unlocking Business Growth in Herefordshire’, the event will take place on Tuesday, 25 February at the Shell Store, Hereford.
Last November, Innovate UK Business Growth, Hereford Council, and Integrated Growth Solutions hosted a highly successful workshop that brought together 40 attendees from 37 companies.
With presentations from Rachel Jones (Hereford Council), Nick Housby (Innovate UK Business Growth), and Claire Griffin (National Contact Point and Global Innovation Lead), the event provided attendees with valuable insights into innovation opportunities, intellectual property (IP) development, and growth support resources.
The latest event builds on this momentum and will include presentations from:
- Mercia Ventures: A leading provider of early-stage capital for equity, sharing insights on investment readiness and scaling your business.
- British Business Bank: Highlighting programs like Start Up Loans and the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II to unlock financing opportunities.
- Nick Housby, Senior Innovation Growth Specialist at Innovate UK Business Growth: Delivering practical advice on Innovate UK's latest services and R&D support.
The event will also provide actionable advice and direct connections to resources that can help businesses:
- Explore funding opportunities tailored to their needs.
- Navigate equity investment strategies with confidence.
- Leverage Innovate UK's expertise for innovation and growth.
The agenda includes engaging presentations, interactive Q&A sessions, and a networking lunch to connect you with like-minded peers and regional experts.
