Fleur Robinson (pictured) has officially commenced her tenure as Burton Albion chief executive officer with a commitment to building on her father Ben Robinson's legacy and embracing a new challenge with Nordic Football Group (NFG).

Fleur is back at her hometown club after three successful years with Wrexham as CEO, where she was a key part of the Welsh club’s rise to League One following back-to-back promotions and which saw tremendous growth off the pitch.

Now she is ready to apply her extensive experiences from her first spell at the Pirelli Stadium and time at Wrexham to help Burton Albion on this exciting new journey alongside new owners NFG.

Fleur said: “I’m delighted to be returning to Burton Albion, a club that will always have a special place in my heart after working alongside my father and Chairman Ben Robinson during the most successful period in the club’s history.

"With the changes taking place at the Pirelli Stadium, these are exciting times.

I’m looking forward to this new challenge and applying the wealth of experience I have gained after more than 25 years in football to help Burton Albion grow and succeed.

"Over nearly 50 years, the Chairman has laid down incredible foundations at Burton Albion, putting the club at the heart of the community and growing it massively as a business.

“It’s my job to build on that incredible legacy, taking the club into the next era without ever losing sight of the values that Ben Robinson has established at the Pirelli Stadium.

"I’m excited by the vision that the new board and NFG have for the future of Burton Albion, and I’m looking forward to working with them and starting a fantastic new journey for the club, our commercial partners, and our fantastic supporters."
