Fast growing Midlands fleet management and vehicle leasing company Multifleet Vehicle Management is on the move itself.

The company, which trades as runyourfleet, is moving from Henley-in-Arden to 9,000 sq ft of offices it has bought at Remus 1, 2 Cranbrook Way on Solihull Business Park, three miles south of Solihull town centre.

Following a fast track fit-out, runyourfleet will be fully operational from its new Midlands base from Monday 9 December.

Steve Whitmarsh, chief executive of runyourfleet, said: “We have grown rapidly since we launched in 2011 in our original base at Forward House on Henley-in-Arden High Street.

“We now work with around 1,200 businesses with fleets from two to over 4,000 vehicles and will soon oversee a managed fleet approaching 40,000 vehicles.

“The time had come to invest in the space we need to continue to grow, and purchasing Remus 1 gives us both space to expand and enhanced facilities for our growing staff numbers.”

Mr Whitmarsh explained that runyourfleet was introduced to its new offices by property consultant Peter Fowles, who worked on their behalf to acquire the property off-market through negotiations with the joint letting agents Avison Young and CBRE.

He added: “The location’s big selling point is the easy access to Junction 4 of the M42 just over a mile away, with Solihull Railway Station easily accessible too.

“This is an important move for us as we grow to become an increasingly nationally focused business.

“Solihull Business Park has a reputation for attracting large corporate occupiers and we are very pleased to be neighbours to the likes of David Wilson Homes, John Lewis, HH Global, Acora and Stonegate Pub Company.

“The location is also adjacent to many of the key franchised dealerships in Solihull – making it even easier for us to collaborate with these businesses.”

Stephen Goodens at Standley & Co provided legal advice for runyourfleet, while the seller’s solicitors were Browne & Jacobsen.

runyourfleet’s customers range from accountancy firms to multinational corporates, using a wide range of services including fleet management, leasing, rental and salary sacrifice schemes.

The firm uses a bespoke Fleet Management platform, built in-house by runyourfleet’s own developers, which recently resulting a King’s Award for Enterprise.
