MP visits South and City College

Gary Sambrook, MP for Birmingham Northfield met with Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) patron South and City College Birmingham (SCCB) last week to discuss key business priorities ahead of this week 's Autumn Statement.

He toured South and City College Birmingham 's Construction College with Principal Mike Hopkins and Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) CEO Henrietta Brealey.

During the tour, Mike talked about the challenges around the recognition for 'T ' Levels and advances in technological and digital facilities and courses now available at SCCB.

Gary Sambrook MP said: “As always, the innovation and passion for getting the best out of younger people at the College continues to impress me. It was great to visit again. ”

Mike Hopkins said: “South and City College Birmingham is very privileged to have the support of our local MP Gary Sambrook, and his understanding and level of interest in the education and future of young people in the constituency was clearly evident when he visited our Construction Campus in Longbridge.

“These are difficult times for young people and Gary's support for our students in the College is really welcome. ”
