More sponsors back regional Chambers awards

Tamworth Borough Council are among the latest organisations to back the forthcoming awards hosted by Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chambers of Commerce.

The council has pledged its support by sponsoring the Tamworth Small Business of the Year Award.

And Sutton Coldfield-based consultancy NA Consulting in on board as sponsor of the Sutton Coldfield Small Business of the Year category.

The event takes place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on Friday 31 January, with around 250 people expected to attend.

Eleven awards will be handed out on the night.

Councillor Nova Arkney, portfolio holder for infrastructure, heritage and local economy for Tamworth Borough Council, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the Tamworth Small Business of the Year Award at the Chamber of Commerce presentation.

“We’re committed to supporting Tamworth’s small business community and we’re honoured to play a role in celebrating and recognising the excellent work they do as part of our vibrant local economy.

“By sponsoring this award, we aim to highlight the outstanding achievements of these businesses and encourage their continued growth and success.

“We’re committed to provide the right environment for small businesses to thrive, and in partnership with local business growth organisations we offer widespread support for new and small business entrepreneurship.”

Headline sponsors for the awards are Amazon and South Staffordshire College.
