Midlands tech community invited to networking event
The local technology community is being invited to an evening of networking with the 'DevOps Society' in an aim to foster collaboration, innovation and inclusion.
The event is organised by ReVybe IT, in collaboration with Version 1. It will take place at the premises of Version 1 at Temple Street on Thursday, 26 September from 6 pm onwards.
Two guest speakers will take the stage during the event, including Amy Boyd, AI advocacy lead at Microsoft and senior Fullstack engineer Akash Joshi.
ReVybe IT created the DevOps Society last November, which has gathered 2,500 members in just nine months. This is their fifth in-person meetup.
Ben Whitmarsh and Vytas Jelinskas from ReVybe IT are trying create new community-focussed initiatives in the city, while inspiring the next generation of local talent to move into the technology realm. This includes giving regular school talks, organising meetups, and providing CV reviews to graduates.
