YOU 1st FOUNDATION
The You 1st Foundation is here to help to improve the lives and educational opportunities of those affected by traumatic medical events.
Their purpose is to support neurointensive care and neurorecovery centers to further their research on brain injuries and recovery solutions. The You First Foundation also helps support the families of brain injury victims.
Whether you need advice or just fancy a cup of tea and a chat! You First have your back!

Tilly’s Voice believes every voice is important and provides you with a safe space to find your confidence to allow your voice to be heard. They provide a holistic approach, where they put the client and not their diagnoses at the focus of their support plan to heal their mind-body, and soul.

SARAC
SARAC (Sexual Abuse Rape Advice Centre) offers confidential support for people in Burton, Lichfield, Tamworth, Uttoxeter, Swadlincote and South Derbyshire who are at risk of or have experienced sexual violence and/or rape at anytime in their lives.
SARAC believes that it is every person’s human right to live their life free of violence, and if violence occurs, it is their right to receive compassionate, professional assistance in their recovery.
The fundamental principles on which the service operates are as follows:
- The responsibility for the offence always lies with the perpetrator.
- The psychological injury resulting from sexual assault and/or rape is based in trauma.
- Client self-determination and empowerment is critical to trauma recovery.
