Mayor to set out growth and innovation plans at Chambers event
An upcoming event will give businesses an opportunity to engage with West Midlands mayor Richard Parker (pictured) as well as key industry stakeholders.
The event will focus on driving innovation across Greater Birmingham and the Black Conty and is hosted in partnership with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, Black Country Chamber of Commerce, and Crowe UK.
Taking place on 8 May, the event will run from 9.30am to 1pm at The Black Country House.
Innovation has been central to the economic success of the West Midlands, and with nearly £1m of investment from Innovate UK over the past decade, the region continues to be at the forefront of industrial and technological development.
As part of his vision to enhance productivity and drive economic growth, the mayor is keen to work closely with businesses to harness innovation and commercialize new products and services.
Attendees will have the chance to hear from innovation experts on how businesses can modernise operations, adopt industry-leading strategies, and access support from Innovate UK and local universities.
The event also provides:
