Marketing manager returns to Ghana for second year of volunteering with African Adventures
Blu Hardy, marketing manager at award-winning signage company Hardy Signs, has returned to Ghana for a second consecutive year to volunteer with African Adventures.
Blu is once again supporting two community-led projects: The Young Shall Grow International and Tegbi EP School in the Volta Region.
Building on the success of last year’s experience, Blu has returned with a renewed commitment to empowering young people through education, creative learning and improving infrastructure.
This year, Blu and the ‘Building Brighter Futures’ team, will be building a wall around the perimeter of Tegbi EP School, to improve the safety for the children.
Blu joins a team of passionate volunteers from the UK, contributing time and expertise to enhance classroom experiences, support school infrastructure and collaborate directly with local teachers and students.
“It’s truly humbling to be welcomed back into a community that has given me so much perspective and purpose,” said Blu.
“The children at Tegbi EP and The Young Shall Grow International are bright, eager and full of potential. It’s a privilege to play a small part in helping to shape their futures and to represent Hardy Signs in such a meaningful way.”
This international volunteering effort reflects Hardy Signs’ commitment to social responsibility and global citizenship.
The company continues to support Blu’s work with African Adventures, recognising the positive ripple effect such initiatives have both abroad and at home.
