The Lunar Society is inviting members of the public to join its 2024 General Elections Hustings online via live stream.

The event will happen on Monday, 1 July between 6 to 8pm.

Representatives from several of the main political parties will debate how their recently released manifestos will impact on the West Midlands region, ahead of the General Election taking place on Thursday 4 July.

The discussion will include opening statements, set questions, questions from the online audience and closing statements from each candidate.

Lunar Society honorary secretary Charmaine Burton will host the event.

She said: “The General Election is fast approaching but there’s still time for candidates to put forward their visions for the future. Voters will need to make an important decision on 4 July, and we want them to be as informed as possible – please join us if you can.”
