Logistics firm Simpex express has pledged to continue their support towards the Transaid charity.

The charity is transforming and saving lives through transport by focusing on professional driver training, transport management systems, and rural access to transport, to solve two of the biggest transport challenges in economically developing countries.

It was founded by Save the Children, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and HRH The Princess Royal.

Simpex has supported Transaid’s work for over 5 years, donating at least £1 from every transport movement made.

Their mission is to support these communities by educating drivers and putting emergency transport schemes to transport pregnant mothers with complications as well as helping community health workers reach the families who need them.

Meanwhile, the patron of Transaid Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, will be attending the Multimodal Exhibition at the NEC, happening from 11 to 13 June.

It is the UK, Ireland & Northern Europe’s premier freight transport, logistics and supply chain management event where Simpex Express will also be exhibiting on stand 2038a.

Stacy Woodall, commercial manager of Simpex Express said: “Transaid is a fantastic charity who we will continue to support through our work at Simpex.

“Being a transport-related charity, they are aligned with our industry and give countries access to services we take for granted in the Western world.”
