Liquid bolsters team with series of appointments and promotions
International integrated communications consultancy, Liquid, has strengthened its team with three new hires at its Birmingham office.
The appointments come after a strong first half of the year for Liquid, following the opening of its office in Brisbane, Australia in March.
The new UK-based hires include digital project manager, Anthony Gibbons, PR account manager, Ellie Rathbone, and intern, Francesca Mellor.
Anthony Gibbons has made the move from Xigen, where he managed digital design, print and web projects for clients such as Central Pharma, Epson and PayPal Giving Fund. Anthony brings a decade of agency experience, which covers digital, print and video projects.
Ellie Rathbone joins from McCann Central, where she managed communications for several consumer clients in the hospitality and retail industries. She also has extensive experience in events management and social media marketing.
Francesca Mellor is currently studying History and Economics at Durham University and joins Liquid as an intern, taking part in the business' award-winning intern programme. In her role, she will be working with a variety of clients in sectors including food and drink and public sector, providing press office and media relations support.
As well as the new appointments, Liquid has also made a number of promotions within its UK team. Antonia Hall has been promoted to account executive and both Hannah Ashley and Leah Benthin have been promoted to junior account manager, taking on further client and management responsibilities.
Liquid CEO, Elisabeth Lewis-Jones, said: “After a strong first half of 2023, we are so pleased to be strengthening our UK team with three new hires. It's been a pleasure welcoming Anthony, Ellie and Francesca to the team - each of them bringing a wealth of skills to support our ever-growing client base.
“We also strive to recognise and reward our existing team members for their hard work and success, and the promotions of Antonia, Hannah and Leah are testament to this. A big well done to all of them.”
