Midlands Air Ambulance Charity have launched a new programme of certified first aid courses to help local businesses and organisations fulfil their legal obligation while supporting its local air ambulance.

Now available to book at the charity’s state-of-the-art clinical training centre at its new Cosford airbase and charity headquarters, the courses provide a chance to gain vital skills while learning more about the charity’s advanced pre-hospital emergency service.

Courses include:

  •  First Aid at Work
  • Emergency Paediatric First Aid
  • CPR & Use of a Defibrillator
  • First Aid Annual Refresher

Designed to educate employees on how to respond in emergency situations, the courses will be delivered by one of the charity’s advanced clinical professionals. Each session is quality assured by The First Aid Industry Body and accepted by Health & Safety inspectors, the Department of Education and OFSTED.

Emily Browne, head of education and training at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Our first aid courses are an option for businesses, schools and community organisations to book on to as part of their mandatory training to learn vital first aid skills from the very people that respond to these emergencies daily.

“Plus, you and your team will get to undertake the sessions at our new airbase and by signing up to our first aid courses, you are also helping raise important funds for our charity’s pre-hospital emergency service, helping us to continue to reach and treat those in critical need across the region.”
