CAPE Coaching & Development, in partnership with Weightmans, successfully hosted an exclusive leadership roundtable event on 7 March 2025 at Weightmans’ Birmingham offices.

The event brought together senior leaders from professional services firms to explore innovative leadership strategies, workforce development, and the evolving role of leaders in a competitive market.

The roundtable, held as part of the West Midlands Business Festival 2025, featured insightful discussions led by industry experts, including Jawaid Rehman, partner and head of Weightmans’ Birmingham office, and Kevin Johns, director at Prime Accountants. Their perspectives provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of leadership in professional services.

Discussions at the roundtable highlighted the importance of embedding leadership at all levels, aligning leadership development with business strategy, and fostering inclusive mentorship and sponsorship programs. Attendees also explored the evolving role of leaders in response to hybrid work models, DEI/ESG initiatives, and technological advancements such as AI.
