Talented students from schools across the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership have seen years of hard work and commitment rewarded on GCSE results day.

Senior leaders greeted Year 11 students from ATLP’s Arthur Terry School, Stockland Green School, John Willmott School, The Coleshill School, Nether Stowe School, The Bridge Academy and West Coventry Academy as they received their GCSE and vocational qualifications yesterday.

Deirdre Duignan, ATLP’s director of education, said: “Our Year 11 students have shown an unwavering commitment and dedication to their studies and today they can celebrate the considerably significant achievements made possible by their continued hard work.

“Every day across the family of ATLP schools, we see countless examples of a wonderful appetite for learning and it is a delight to see students celebrating their just rewards. Thank you to all of the teachers, staff, parents and carers who have worked together to give our young people the best possible chances to prosper.”

ATLP CEO Richard Gill CBE said: “It has been an honour and a privilege to watch the educational journeys of our Year 11 students unfold. Today provides the opportunity to reflect on just how much these remarkable students have achieved – not just in their exam results but elsewhere in school and also beyond the classroom.

“I thank our Year 11 students for being such tremendous role models to younger children across the ATLP and we all look forward to welcoming many of them back into our sixth forms in September. To those leaving us to continue their studies or begin work, we wish you a hugely successful future and thank you for being such wonderful members of our learning family.”
