Lawyers support sale of engineering firm

Leading Birmingham-based law firm, Wilkes, has acted as legal advisers to the shareholder of Advanced Engineering (Middleton) Ltd (Company) on the sale of the entire issued share capital of the company to D C Norris & Company Ltd (D C Norris), a leading provider of food and beverage industrial cooking equipment.

The Company has retained a prominent status in the market, known for its cutting-edge mixer design and technology.

The sale enables the Company to now enter into a new phase under the ownership of D C Norris.

The deal was facilitated with the expert support of Wilkes' corporate team, who worked closely with the tax and corporate finance advisers at BK Plus.

Associate solicitor, Kiran Munawar, led the corporate aspects of the transaction while Senior Associate, Katherine Proctor, provided essential support on property matters.
