National law firm Bevan Brittan and Natural Insights HR consultancy are considering the launch of a new Employee Relations (ER) Network, aimed primarily at the most senior HR/ER practitioners working within businesses and organisations in the private sector.

The organisations are inviting interested parties to attend an initial webinar, where they will be provided with further information about the potential network.

The webinar, happening on Thursday, 10 October from 12 to 1.30 pm, will also offer an opportunity for practitioners to have their say as to how the network could add the most value for members.

The session will also incorporate an update on recent developments in employment law, as well as a discussion about the key practical issues and problems facing HR/ER practitioners in the private sector.

Bevan Brittan and Natural Insights hope the network will be a valuable resource to senior HR/ER professionals and are keen for individuals to join them and provide initial thoughts.

If there is enough interest to formalise a full launch, the network will be an exclusive, invitation-only network for senior HR/ER professionals to facilitate the sharing of best practice and employment law updates.

It will also give them a chance to discuss matters generally with fellow practitioners in a ‘safe’ and confidential forum. Membership of the network would be free of charge.

Helena Morrissey (pictured), legal director and employment law specialist at Bevan Brittan, said: “I’m really excited about this proposed new network as it will bring like-minded professionals together to explore key issues of importance, share knowledge and engage in lively discussion.”

The network would include regular roundtables and information sessions, as well as an online discussion forum which would be exclusively available to members.

However, if professionals have any additional thoughts as to how the proposed network could support and add value, Bevan Brittan would be delighted to hear them.
