Law firm set to sponsor charity bubble rush event
A bubbly summer spectacular being organised by Acorns Children’s Hospice will this year be sponsored by award-winning legal firm Talbots Law, the charity has announced.
Acorns Bubble Rush event will see hundreds of people bursting through walls of coloured foam in a fun course at Walsall Arboretum, and will raise vital funds for the charity’s lifeline care of local children and families.
Talbots Law, a full-service law firm with offices across the Midlands, will be the headline sponsor for the family-friendly event on Sunday, 21 July.

“The event is one of the region’s best loved family events and raises much-needed funds towards our care for children with life limiting or life threatening conditions and support for their families.

Talbots Law is one of the Midlands’ leading law firms, and has a long history of supporting local charities and community initiatives and their staff have chosen Acorns as their Charity of the Year for 2024.

Tickets are now available for the Bubble Rush, which is a foamy 5K fun-run and will see participants of all ages tackle masses of super suds as they make their way through a course of frothy ‘bubble stations’.
Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care for babies, children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions, and support for their families.
In the past year, the charity has cared for more than 750 children across the West Midlands, and supported almost 1,000 families, including those who are bereaved.
This care and support are provided from Acorns three hospices, based in Birmingham, Walsall and Worcester, and in the community.
Acorns needs around £30,000 each day to provide its children’s hospice care, with two thirds of that amount coming from generous donations and fundraising by the local community.
