Law firm’s Birmingham office grows with two new appointments
The Birmingham office of national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has started the new year with the appointment of two new lawyers.
Holly Smith joins the firm as an associate in the family team while Michaela Walker joins as a solicitor in the commercial property team.
With experience in dealing with complex financial remedy work, Holly Smith has particular expertise in advising clients going through the process of divorce with a family business element, especially those in the agriculture sector.
Michaela also brings a wealth of experience, with expertise in a wide array of commercial property work including investment, landlord and tenant issues and real estate finance.
Both Holly and Michaela’s appointments represent the continued expansion across all teams in the Birmingham office and highlight the recent success of the leading family and commercial property teams.
Rayner Grice, partner and head of the Birmingham family team at Clarke Willmott, said: “Holly is a great asset to our team, which continues to do fantastic work in the region, supporting families through varied issues when they need us most. Holly’s knowledge and credentials in financial matters will ensure that our clients are in safe hands.”
Andrew Stokes, partner in the commercial property team, said: “We’re excited to have Michaela join the commercial property team in our Birmingham office, further strengthening our offering across various specialisms within this sector. Michaela will be a fantastic addition to the team.”
