Join Chamber president on fully-funded trade mission to Lahore
Greater Birmingham businesses are being invited to express their interest in a fully-funded mission to a major trade show in Lahore, Pakistan next month.
Firms who wish to attend the Health Engineering and Minerals Show (HEMS) from 17 to 19 April will benefit from a funded trip, courtesy of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.
It will be of particular interest to companies trading in the following sectors and goods - auto parts, safety equipment, jewellery and gems, sports goods, musical instruments, surgical goods, home appliances, electrical fans, furniture and mattresses, handicrafts, stationery and paper products, cookware and cutlery.
The visit is being supported by Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce president Nasir Awan (pictured), as part of his drive to encourage West Midlands firms to explore new and emerging international markets.
HEMS is the largest showcase of Pakistan’s engineering and healthcare products and technologies.
It will 320 exhibitors from various sectors.
The show is of interest to brand developers, large buyers, sourcing agents, chain and e-commerce stores and firms involved in healthcare and engineering products.
Nasir Awan said: “This event provides a platform to build international networks and explore opportunities for Greater Birmingham companies.
“Participating businesses will benefit from airfares, accommodation, meals and transportation, as well as accompanied visits to potential companies participating in the event.”
