IT providers strike new partnership with charity organisation
Technical Drive, one of the West Midlands’ leading managed IT providers, have announced a new three-year deal with charity organisation Groundwork.
Groundwork were established in 1981 and employ around 3,000 people across the UK.
They undertake thousands of projects each year across the UK, making a difference to communities in need.
For the past decade, Technical Drive has supported Groundwork UK, initially managing their on-premises IT infrastructure and later transitioning to cloud services.
In late 2024, the cloud migration project for all 15 trusts was put out to competitive tender, which Technical Drive was awarded.
Technical Drive provide Groundwork with comprehensive IT support and services, including the management of their Microsoft 365 and a custom-built SharePoint environment.
Each trust is protected by a robust suite of cyber security solutions. Technical Drive have also collaborated closely with Groundwork to achieve Cyber Essentials certification and are currently working on rolling out Cyber Essentials Plus across each trust.
