Hotel launches new summer menu

The Marco Pierre White’s Manor Hotel restaurant has just launched its brand-new, seasonal menu that offers a refreshing take on all that’s great about the British summer.

Featuring a range of light and fresh dishes, the menu provides the perfect meal out during the warmer, brighter and summer days, and is available at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill at the Manor Hotel in Meriden.

As well as a selection of seasonal specials to choose from on the main à la carte menu, there’s also a summer puddings menu and a new, price-friendly seasonal set menu called the ‘1961’ - which pays homage to Pierre White’s birth year.

Silvio Faller, general manager at The Manor Hotel, says: “It’s amazing to see how our menu has evolved over the years. Very few restaurants offer seasonal specials and seasonal set menus every quarter.

“It positions us as one of the more innovative and progressive restaurants in the area and no other venue can claim its menu is created personally by the great Marco Pierre White.

“Marco’s ethos is all about using simplicity and fresh ingredients to highlight the food and flavour - and this menu does exactly that.

“In addition, at £19.61 for two courses, the new summer menu is incredibly good value for money. Costing less than our set menu last year, it will allow those looking to celebrate or go out for a nice meal to do so without worrying about the cost.”

The à la carte seasonal specials starters include Wheeler’s Crispy Calamari and Beetroot & Goat’s Cheese Salad.

Mains are just as tempting, offering Pan Fried Monkfish Tail, Raffles Tiffin Club Chicken Curry or a Grilled Sea Bass Fillet Alla Sicilian.

Those who choose from the ‘1961’ set menu will be able to enjoy a Pea and Shallot Mini Ravioli or Chargrilled Chicken Supreme.

Guests with any room left will then be able to choose one of the new summer puddings, which includes an Eton Mess and Cinnamon Apple Pie.

Silvio added: “These fabulous new summer dishes sit alongside our classic range of starters, steaks and mains, so there’s plenty of choice to suit all palates.

“Of course, the best way to find out the full range of these new seasonal dishes is to pop in and try them out. There really is something for everyone.”
