During the event, taking place on the longest day of the year, golfers will be treated to breakfast rolls on arrival, a full 18 holes, refreshments throughout the day, a two-course meal in the evening, golf themed activities, and opportunities to help make every moment matter thorough a silent auction and raffle.

Luke Manley, corporate fundraising manager at Birmingham Hospice, said: “We're absolutely delighted that we are hosting our very first corporate golf day for Birmingham Hospice.

“By inviting local companies and business professionals to come together at such a prestigious golf club, we're not only improving our ability to make every moment matter for those facing terminal illness, but also developing a platform for meaningful connections and collaborations among like-minded individuals and organisations.”

As well as looking for businesses and individuals who would like to book places, the charity also has plenty of opportunities to purchase sponsorship packages, including headline sponsor for the event.

Luke added: “At Birmingham Hospice it costs £10,080 to run 30 days of nursing care in the community for patients who wish to remain at home.

“For those that choose to be cared for in one of our Inpatient Units, it costs £5,950 for round-the clock palliative care. The money raised from this event will go directly to the hospice to support our patients receiving the care they deserve in a place of their choice.”

Each year, after NHS funding, the hospice needs to raise at least £5.5 million from voluntary donations. Money raised from this event will ensure go towards providing expert and compassionate care, ensuring people living with a terminal diagnosis die comfortably and with dignity.
