Birmingham Hospice is bringing the Australian jungle all the way to Birmingham by hosting its own version of the hit TV show, I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

However, rather than seeing your favourite celebrities being put through their paces, the hospice is calling on local CEOs, managers and employees to face their fears for a day of fundraising, aptly named I’m a CEO... Get Me Out of Here!

Taking place at Escape Live in Birmingham on Wednesday 20 November, ‘campmates’ will work together to complete trials that include tackling an Escape Room, creepy-crawly handling and a mystery trial to be revealed on the day.

The hospice is asking participants to raise a minimum of £500 each in order to support the patients and families the charity cares for.

Birmingham Hospice provides expert, specialist and compassionate palliative and end of life care to around 800 people on average every day across its services.

However, due to spiralling costs and a shortfall in government funding, the charity recently announced that it is in a funding crisis and services are having to be reduced.

Luke Manley, corporate fundraising manager at Birmingham Hospice, said: “While the hospice faces these difficulties due to a lack of government funding, we remain deeply passionate about fundraising and need the support of local businesses now more than ever.

“I’m a CEO... Get Me Out of Here, promises to be a fantastic day of fun and facing your fears. Plus, it’ll be a great networking opportunity for like-minded business professionals to come together and support our charity.”

There is no registration fee and the event is open to all businesses who’d like to get involved. To find out more and sign up, please visit HERE.
