The forthcoming Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chambers of Commerce awards have received backing from some high-profile local organisations.

The black-tie ceremony, hosted by broadcasting legend Nick Owen, takes place at The Belfry on Friday 31 January.

Around 250 people are expected to attend and 11 awards will be handed out on the night.

Among the organisations supporting the awards are South Staffordshire College, 3D Facilities Support and Lichfield District Council.

South Staffordshire College join Amazon as headline sponsors for the event, as well as sponsoring the Young Professional of the Year category.

Kirk Hookham (pictured), deputy CEO of South Staffordshire College, said: “We are immensely proud to sponsor the Young Professional of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year.

“As your local college, we support over 1,000 businesses and thousands of students annually through our full-time, part-time, bootcamp, and apprenticeship programmes, ensuring they acquire the skills needed for success.

“This award is vital in recognising and valuing the contributions of young professionals in our region.

“The college also sees the platform sponsoring this prestigious award provides for those young professionals to go even further in their field and therefore we wish the very best to all the nominees.”

Meanwhile, the Entrepreneur of the Year Award is sponsored by Lichfield District Council.
